It is finally football season again! Which means bringing in fall, tailgating in the Junction, and everyone enjoying time here at Mississippi State!So many things are going on this week in Starkville! Thursday, students can go and enjoy Cowbell Yell at the Davis Wade Stadium. This year marks the third annual pep rally that will help launch the 2013 football season! The pep rally will feature the Famous Maroon Band, cheerleaders and pom squad, and speakers to excite the students for the coming season.
Friday people can enjoy a Downtown Block Party at College Park on Russell Street in Downtown Starkville. Everyone can enjoy a Tailgate Fashion Show, food, and much more. There are even activities for the kids! Make sure to check this out from 6-8 p.m.
Then finally, what everyone has been prepping for, the Mississippi State vs. Alcorn State game on Saturday! The game starts at 2:30 p.m. and the gates open three hours prior! Everyone can enjoy this weekend full of events and ring in the home season for the Bulldogs!
