As this years homecoming week is slowly coming to a close, we all here at Mississippi State University take this as a time to come together and enjoy being part of the Bulldog family. This week has definitely been full of festivities, and with the weekend approaching, there is much more to come!
One thing going on during this week that many might not know about is why there are windows decorated up and down Main Street. The painted windows show a little piece of our homecoming theme, to "Live Maroon and White Forever". You can enjoy these windows while strolling down Main Street and be sure to stop in the stores along the way and check out some cute clothes and items for this season!
Make sure to stay involved with things going on the rest of homecoming week! Friday is still full of fun things to do to take part in all of the events that have gone on this week. There will be a Chili Cook off in the Amphitheater from 5-7 p.m. The homecoming parade starts at 5:30 and will go throughout most of the district. Right after the parade will be Maroon Madness in the Junction and a step show in Newell-Grissom at 7, hosted by NPHC! So Friday there will be plenty of things to be apart of and attend!
Saturday is the homecoming game against Bowling Green and the homecoming court will be presented at half-time. So make sure you get out this weekend and ring on the Bulldogs to a victory!
